The Radionavigation and Positioning Staff (P-7) Staff Members

The Radionavigation and Positioning Staff supports the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy under the Office of the Secretary for the Department of Transportation (DOT), Mr. Rodney E. Slater. The Staff develops and works policy issues germane to any radionavigation or positioning system operated by the Department. Additionally, it functions in a leadership role for the civilian stewardship of the Global Positioning System (GPS) and any augmentations to GPS. The Acting Director for the Radionavigation and Positioning Staff, P-7, is Mr. Joesph F. Canny, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy.
